Issue were fg ecelebs like sajam straight up lying about the game and non existent support until like a year later. This game for some reason got targeted by big fg ecelebs who were posting clips without context like Inquisitors(literally bottom 3 character before first patch btw) wheel setups that had multiple easy counters for example lmao. I dont even like dnf duel but it was weird as fuck how cherrypicked anything was about that game.

It wasnt delayed. That game was finished and was going through Sonys certification process and gamefiles were on PSN servers already. Some people with preorders were able to decrypt files and it was 24Gbs. Apparently there is playable build somewhere on jailbroken ps4 due to that too. You can find trophies for this game online because of that. This pajeet remake was so bad Ubisoft decided to basically nuke finished product because they though it would damage the IP so much. Then they gave the project to Ubi Montreal to make it completly from scratch.
