>none of that happened
First off, how in the FUCK are you going to tell me? Secondly, it *did* happen, and not just on a few occasions. You ever had a supervisor question your sexuality openly and almost daily? Or how about coworkers (and supervisors) constantly questioning your intelligence when it's quite obvious most of them built their blocks a little 'differently' growing up? At one point, I even had a supervisor AND the then-ops manager try to coerce me into staying overtime when I didn't have to, citing that I (apparently) had "nothing else to do outside of work" simply because I'm unmarried, don't have kids, and live alone. These are just among the few things that've turned me away from 'opening up' to these drooling trogs, and that was even BEFORE the Pandemic...which, thankfully, took out quite a few of them.
>they wanted to be your friend
No, they wanted a verbal punching bag/pin cushion, and I wouldn't give them one. Supervisor asking me to add him on Xbox Live or PSN...and for what? Just so he and his goofy friends could say the shit online that they couldn't on the work floor.
