your dopamine system is supposed to reward you for doing something important in real life. it's about directed, active attention and getting rewarded for actually doing something. neuroscientists have hijacked your brain through ads and goyslop programming to feel a reward just sitting on ass watching TV or getting a like on twitter. getting likes on twitter is super addictive and dangerous. laughing because you expected a joke to be coming is even more addictive and dangerous, in ways humanity is only beginning to understand.
this is why I'm recommending the journal. it establishes a momentum of what you're feeling and what you want to change about how you're feeling. just making it in of itself is a reward. do you animate yourself or are you animated by others? dopamine cleansing is about removing the others from your behaviors
