>actually blanchardism isn't true because it doesn't hold up to any scrutiny empirically
>read this theory. No it doesn't make any arguments. No it doesn't cite any data. Yes it's just anecdotes and cliches written in an Audre Lordecore style. But it sounds nice and feels right, so if you don't believe it, you're transphobic
What did the Trans Movement mean by this? How did it get to this unserious of a point?

If you reject self-ID, it seems to me like you have to either reject the idea that gender dysphoria is a mental illness or concede that if being transgender isn't itself a mental illness it's both a result of and treatment for a mental illness, then treat the problem more like a mental health destigmatization problem then one of accepting a minority identity group. But even in the crowd that rejects self-ID, this doesn't seem like a popular strategy. It seems they acknowledge gender dysphoria is a mental illness, that without gender dysphoria you can't be trans, but they still theorize about gender transition as if it's something that exists independently from the mental disorder that makes it necessary. Why do you think this is? Do you think that a strategy of destigmatization, that basically says treating transgender people according to their desires gender is a form of accommodation similar to building infrastructure for the physically disabled, might be more easily accepted by the public than asking them to completely replace their ideas on sex and gender?

I think pro-trans internet communities are worse off due to lack of serious disagreement, so I pseudchudpost to make sure people get practice developing counterarguments to their opinions. How extremely sexy does this make me?

Why did the word science become synonymous with soys? It should be the kind of thing that is immutable fact but any mention of science is just a meme now.
