This. Classically trained pianist since a child. Its the only thing I do just for me. I have a Steinway upright that my father left me. Yeah its a pain in the ass to move, but I'm financially set and I have no need to move anymore. Getting it tuned once every 2 years or so for $150 is not a lot of maintenance to be honest.
The piano actually helps me filter bitches I bring home. If a girl walks up and starts smashing on the keys and say "Play Adele" or some shit, I just smile, nod and ghost her the next day after I hate fuck her all night.
The only woman I ever loved was one who came over, saw the piano, asked me really intelligent questions about it, and said she loved Chopin, and if I could play something for her. Chopin is my favorite. Fell in love with her hard over the next month. She was the best thing to ever happen to me and I fucked it all up because I am a selfish asshole.
