I have no clue where else to post this but I'm drunk and in my feels so...
Back home after being at uni for months with a few breaks back home before this. I have developed so much somewhere else that isn't my own home to the point that what should be my "home" feels almost alien. This is where all of my worst experiences were: I was literally raped, bullied, had personal information maliciously exposed in group chats, and more in this neighborhood. I'm still isolated, I still don't have many friends, everything in my life has obviously still happened, but at least that "new" city is a blank slate and I have shown progress there. But here I just feel the weight of everything that came before. I feel like most offline don't understand how awful it feels to truly have never had a solid friend group, to actually be fully vulnerable due to social desperation, etc. Even my best memories feel poisoned by their wider context while others seem to be able to treasure something from their past at least. I don't know, anyone here (I'm assuming/hoping many of you will) relate?
I like watching pagpag videos because even though the food is repulsive the slums of Manila kinda look comfy like I'm in a neopets location.
