To be fair, you're just buying a license on GOG too. It's just that the installers are easier to back-up.

Same, based. Though really people should just be comfortable using both.

Nice thread but I will not be sharing. GOG needs to bring GOG-Chan back though.

Clair Obscur and Silent Hill f are now on GOG, btw.

Don't bother with the Galaxy client, just use the installers.

Just use Steam and GOG. Competition is good.

Why are people incapable of using both? I like GOG, but I wouldn't tell you to stop using your Steam account, especially for multiplayer.

Obviously it'd be bad if literally everyone pirated, unless you want the entire vidya industry to fail to finally be free of vee.

I don't think GOG will either, but someone could create a Dreamlist entry and encourage others to vote: https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/

GOG and I'm a shill but I also realize GOG has various problems, the most unfortunate being devs who don't update their GOG versions in a reasonable amount of time compared to the Steam versions.

So GOG is perhaps generally best for patient gamers who buy some time after the release date. Nevertheless, I appreciate those who support competition to Steam and client free options (also like Zoom Platform or Fire Flower games)

I reject the premise of your question.
