I meant your friends will talk about goyslop.
Yes exercise helps, getting out in the sun and breaking a sweat, helps a lot. Personally I almost never have a phone in my hand but I'm old and never liked them anyway. Recently after my dad passed away and dealing with greedy relatives I needed help, got online therapy, they insisted I get Prozac so I did and threw it away (shit doesn't work it's a marketing scam). My therapist is OK, like I said it's a good way to talk through stuff going on as in my experience friends and family tend to brush this shit off because they don't care/aren't getting paid to listen. And I'm sure as fuck not going to unload to a coworker.
>Then nothing happens because the doomscroller just keeps on doomscrolling.
There are strategies for addictions of all kinds, but again it's a lot of work. But my therapist is OK she really puts work into it, she researches and looks for practical solutions and does her homework instead of that "tell me about your mother" Freudian crap.
