I think God is actually built around the image of Man, as much as Man is built around the image ot God.

I think God is incomplete, just like us humans are, and I believe God uses us and our consciousness to help shape and build their very own identity as well, just like we are. As Donald Hoffman puts it, God is trying to learn about who they are, by learning who they are not, and they use us humans as references and pointers in order to accomplish that very goal.

I think you're right when you say God tries to fulfill their own desires, but by that extension, humans are also trying to fulfill their own desires too. The important distinction here, is that we our fulfilling our own desires in reflection of God, as much as God is fulfilling their own desires in reflection of Man.

And so with that being said, I don't believe humans can simply do what they want with their own desires if it is evil and wrong just because you claim God doesn't care, because the majority of humanity desires peace and goodness in the world, and whatever humans ultimately desires is what God also ultimately desires. So if you as an individual tries to do evil and wrong in this world against innocent people, the rest of the world will find you and punish you for your crimes, and by that extension, God will punish you as well. It's as simple as that.

Do no evil, anon, fulfill your desires as long as you do no evil. Or you will one day surely regret it. God and Humanity will make sure of that.
