Why is it so difficult to find people to just enjoy making music with nowadays? Just play some jams, some tunes, some improvs.
Back in the day my dad and my uncle would play some christmas tunes on guitar and piano when he came over during the holidays.
My grandpa as well went to go play music with his friends until his death basically, he wasn't a professional musician, they never did it with any intention of playing concerts, they were not a band or anything, but just to have fun and have a beer afterwards.

Sounds very cheesy I know, but I kind of miss this way of just having people around to pull out an instrument with and just play some tunes, not for some youtube video, or to "make it", but as a normal social activity, like playing chess, or uno.
I remember how genuinely happy my grandma was when I just played some very basic stuff for her back when I first started playing.

Not sure about the Gaster and Catti thing, but it would make sense if the soul is not directly us but somehow we got control of it.
But given how much it hurts him to remove it and how he is not able to function properly without it couldn't just have been injected into him, but rather some kind of posession/fusion.
