Are you kidding me? This game was so mishandled it's legendary.
It's the wrong fucking genre for a start how about that? And the soundtrack apart from the Samurai tracks, ambient city music (wherever you can find it) and like 2 - 3 songs are pure fucking ass AIDs; so that's what like 98% of the music complete earrape unlistenable shat?
Riddled with bugs, riddled with balancing issues. This game feels like it was made by people learning how to make video games while they made it.
The game didn't have a single cohesive vision from a director who was willing to put their foot down and say "this is how the game is, deal with it." Unsure of everything and it fucking shows.
They keep adding Second Life-tier updates like "spend more time with your waifu e-girl Panam in your rented fictional videogame apartment" I mean pfff?
They keep going back-and-forth and re-balancing and even throwing out entire gameplay mechanics and taking away player agency for zero fucking reason!
2.0 is a shitshow and it gutted core base mechanics of the game and threw builds under the bus.
Quickhacks were good now they are garbage.
Crafting was good now it is garbage.
You used to be able to remove mods from weapons, now you cannot.
You used to be able to craft mods; now it's a shitshow where you need to, for some reason, have two specific matching mods of a lower tier to combine them to make one mod of a tier above them (absolute ass).
You used to be able to completely re-spec your character, now you cannot.
Armour used to do something, thete even used to be armour mods, now armour does nothing -- it's cosmetic, and worse, it's a cosmetic feature with a cosmetic feature on top of it (outfits) -- and you cannot mod armour so why even keep the armour equip menu at all, or the outfit menu?
The driving is terrible.
The stats are arcane, often bugged, difficult to understand and often have true meanings that are completely at odds with what they actually do (weapon handling).
