The infighting goes pretty far beyond normal levels for /v/. Every thread gets raided by resident schizos who just ritualpost and spam porn until arguments start.

Regarding the “/v/ likes it thing,” I don’t really know. The threads are very insular and are frequented by the same small group of people from what I can tell; bringing up the series in any thread outside of it brings out a lot of vitriol

For most it was a mix between the game’s strange gameplay choices and the “anime” stuff.

I really love the game and don’t really have any issues with the designs (beyond the clashing art styles from the guest artists), but I can understand people having problems with the gacha system, field skills, tutorials, and performance.

The first chunk of the game is a slog and made me drop it when I first played. The other 3 games are much more consistent, which is probably why they have better reputations.

2 probably has the most passionate fans though.
