>every AT weapon basically works the same way.
recoilless is flat out the superior option on bots though. it's capable of one-shotting every bot heavy from the front where as the other options need 2 or even 3 shots. it can even kill hulks and tanks. in one shot no matter where you hit them while EAT and Quasar won't kill a hulk if they hit a limb and will only one-shot a tank with a rear weakspot it.
The SPEAR requires such a specific angle and range to engage factory striders from to get the one-shot against them, coupled with the fact it's got all the same breakpoints as the recoilless but 2 less shots means it's really not in the running.
>The Epoch feels like it solves that problem by sub-dividing its damage into several bite-sized shots,
if you look at the breakpoints it's basically a reloadable commando, except it takes 3 shots to kill tanks from the front where the commando takes 2

I like the epoch and think it's neat, btw
>the recoilless isn't a noobtube guys seriously

>It should easily be stronger than eats, and a reliable center mass rocket tool it's fine.
except the RR is so strong you don't even need to center mass to one-shot

Why do you think the most effective irl man-portable anti-tank weapons are all top-attack munitions? Because tanks have lots of armour that is specifically designed to protect against the kinds of warheads man-portable anti-tank uses, so man-portable anti-tank has to specifically target the thinnest and least protected part of the tank. you can't just shoot a tank anywhere with a 84mm carl gustav non-tandem HEAT shell and get a kill like you can with the recoilless in game. And even if you do penetrate the armour unless you cause an ammunition cookoff you're not blowing up the tank. You'll wound or kill a few crew members or disable the tanks ability to carry out its mission, but you're not getting the kind of instant catastrophic detonation you get in game by clipping the track guard. You're trying to appeal to real life when real life disagrees with you. The recoilless is the absolute definition of a noobtube.

Reminder the RR can one-shot hulks and tanks by hitting them anywhere, even the extreme end of one of its gun barrels or the outside edge of its side skirt. But the RR isn't OP or anything, no sir.

because the RR can do this and the EAT/Commando can't
EPIC!

Ok, here is some game play showing some of the disastrous changes made to the game in order to appease shitters.
