They're not literally talking about the Koran or beauty, you imbecile. In fact, when issuing phrases like that, they rarely reference the Koran at all. Few have read it and they don't care to, because the point of it has nothing to do with the Koran or Islamic doctrine. If you supposedly "keep seeing" people defend Islam, you should have noticed by now, it's not a sentiment made in a vacuum. It's a direct response to Islamophobia and racism against Muslim-majority ethnic groups and refugees. It's not about the book or even the religion, it's about the people.
