I was talking to this girl while she was at work, and she was complaining about how her job makes her work weird hours and prevents her from going to church unless she gets up extremely early. Eventually, I asked if she'd ever considered babysitting since she could set her own hours and would probably be in high demand because of her musical talents. The conversation ended there abruptly, and I haven't heard from her in a couple days. I backed off for a bit in case I'd offended her before shooting her another message since this is her day off. Nothing, although there is still a lot of time in the day.
Did I fuck up? Her schedule has been wacky lately, but I get so paranoid about this shit because I always respond to people (not just girls) promptly. I could also be spoiled because the other girl I'm talking to always tells me good morning and goodnight, sends me heart emojis, and has called me cute.
Meanwhile, the first girl is more on my level in terms of interests, humor, and personality types. However, I don't know if we've ever actually flirted, although she made the decision to move from the app to direct texting, which I've heard is a girl's way of saying that she's happy with how things are progressing

I hope you guys are right. But am I just supposed to wait for her to contact me? If so, at what point would I need to stop waiting and just take the plunge? We haven't been talking THAT long, so the chance of her just forgetting about me is higher even if we have spent entire days just texting long paragraphs back and forth.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that this would be a generational bag fumble. I'm just really fucking paranoid, especially since we're about 1.5 hours apart by car, which is only manageable because of public transport making her only 1 hour away in practice.
