You can do that in first world countries as well, but you will be living in a hut and growing your own food and maybe hunting, so semi-retired, or living with roommates in a small town for full retirement.
You will not own a car either way. You will bike around and rely on public transit.
I used to ride an inter-city bus to work. I occasionally would see some boomer hauling groceries on a big box mounted on his bicycle like some third worlder. He would then put the bike and the groceries in the luggage space under the bus and ride the bus with us to the nearest station to his bumfuck small town and ride all the way back home. If you know to go dog mode like that and live frugally then it can work in first world countries.

I retired when I was 32 with ~$1.5M back in 2018. It's since grown to like $2.5M without me even trying. Shit is easy. I just play golf all day with old people and make dumb youtube videos sometimes. Idk why more of you don't try harder to become NEETS. FIRE is easier than you think.

Have you tried the wagie pipeline?
>Get a job
>Use that job's 401(k) to save up for retirement with employer match.
>Take whatever benefits you want, then look at your average net.
>Pay for essentials (gas, food, bills, etc.) first, then split what's left into three parts: HYSA, Crypto/Stocks/Bonds, and "play money", in that order.
>Collect dividends and interest while you wage. Make adjustments to your Savings to Investments ratio based on market trends.
>If you are fired/quit jobs, take 401(k) and roll it into an IRA ASAP to prevent loss of funds.

It'll take a while, but you can make it back, brother.

Why didn't you just save up ~$500k and live off of 4% of the yearly safe withdrawal rate for the next 30+ years like we told you?

However much money you need to exist annually × n.
Where n is between 25-40 depending on your risk tolerance.
