What makes this scene so great is the fact the only pov that matters is Pa Kent. No one else. Clark later understands that. Clark was the protector of the world and it required a much bigger introduction. Snyder understood the mechanics that make a hero. It’s not about nonsensical quips and slapstick comedy of modern MCU movies and Deadpoo and Wokverine.
