>Xbox All In One because they wanted it to be a general entertainment system, not specifically a gaming one.
>The TV aspect was a conceptual flop since you had to link a pre-existing cable box to the console rather than using the console as one
>Game console branding meant people wouldn't buy it with the intention of using it as a general entertainment system while the promotional focus on literally everything BUT gaming was a massive turn off for many.
>It needed to be always online to work and also introduced DRM to console games which further alienated the gaming audience. Got worse too when the head of xbox at the time told people to stick with current gen despite how obviously retarded that is.
I ate, breathed and shat everything Halo back then and I was willing to buy the console but see all of that unfold killed my inital hype, stuck with my 360 until I eventually built a PC and every once in a while I keep wandering what the gaming landscape would be like if the Xbone didn't shit the bed so hard.
