in my opinion, that's but one more symptom of usury at the international level. while getting things done is, indeed, important, when vote outcome (and toeing the fucking line no less) takes precedence over reasoned debate, it's a tail wagging the cart before the horsedog. of course this sounds woo-woo but, really, finding that oneness within duality isn't a bad idea; there's always common ground when two otherwise polariszed parties seek it, until there isn't.
