Nah. I'm not him. I remember seeing him years ago in the comic threads, but I wasn't able to post back then.

It's just a baddly written Superman story. Someone once said Superman was meant to be this static character that other characters gravitate towards to, but he doesn't change much.

Naturally I never liked this idea, because while is true Supes can work as a main character but not the main focus of the narrative, I much prefer when he is the main focus.

Sonic tho, I dislike not when he is this flat character helping others or whatever, I just hate it when Sonic is shilled by the narrative. Lord knows I hated Sonic Forces not for how Sonic was written, but how everyone else around him were.

Same with 06 Sonic.

They are hard to please, but if you put a third party, they may be more lenient on it. Ian Munchler, despite the Jet's story, is well liked, and so is Daniel Barnes; Toyoda and the Manga upstar are liked well enough.

Usually people are very overfocused on the negative they are predisposed to be negative, no matter what you do. Don't appeal to these people, it's a pointless quest.

I believe the Man of Action writers are competent; Pontac and Graff aren't the best of the best but they can write decently on the right circunstances.

Yet their version of Sonic felt off.

Same with the Elroy brothers when they wrote for Classic Sonic; he was a motor mouth talking of chilli dogs non-stop, compared with what Flynn wrote. And I think nobody has complained of Classic Sonic when Flynn writes him compared with "Paragonic" in IDW.

Having a different writer is not the answer if the writer has no care for the source material. And the people who do care have their own interpretations and preferences, and that includes Sonic Team themselves with their inconsistencies.

How is that any different from when people pushed for the "Sonic shitty friends" narrative two decades ago.

You don't like them. What about the people who do like them? You're gonna go with the "not true fans" crap? Because that's just loser behavior I expect from the Diaperfag.

He was being rethorical, anon. Eggman says he could kill Sonic any time he wants, and he possibly could in some scenarios, but ultimately in the scene you are quoting, Eggman was just angry than a newbie/upstart was taking "his kill".

What exactly will they do with Sonic 4? Because Sonic 3 was more or less what I expected, the biggest surprise was them adapting the Eclipse Cannon (I thought they weren't gonna go to space) and Gerald being alive (I thought he was gonna be dead).

What are they adapting with Sonic 4? Little Planet?
