I think it's biggest crime is just kind of being boring. The most notable aspects are how cloying it is with its singular, solitary joke it spreads over the entire game. The exploration is mediocre, the characters and stories are boring, the combat never gets interesting, even the looting is just kind of dull. It doesn't fulfill any of the expected systems you'd want but its not so fantastically bad as to be memorable for it.

It's just so weirdly forgettable.
