gave the ibanez to the guitar bloke to do a set up on, he did an audible whistle when he saw it and got his mate over, said the red xiphos are quite rare, gonna get it set up into d standard with some 11-54s, got a drop A tuned guitar so I'll have this one slightly higher, be done before the weekend.

bit seethy that royal mail failed to deliver my guitar with the 24 hour express service they were deep throating on parcel forces website, like if you cant actually deliver it given ample time then why have it as a service? going to have to take off monday wfh which will mean I'll have to be in on friday now to be in whilst they deliver it because they wont do it on a saturday unless I pay extra (I reckon they should anyway because theyve failed, wankers)

its ridiculously edgy the xpt700, I was looking for guitars and thought no stupid shapes no stupid colours, black boring superstrat shape for me and what have I done? saw the xiphos and thought ive got to have that, previous ideas out the window. Apparently its a very comfy and playable guitar, decent pickups, bridge isn't amazing but I will be swapping it for a floyd rose original later down the line.

luv me shreds, I will be playing lots of death metal, I will be upgrading the ibanez edge 3 tremelo though to an original george floyd rose at some point with it. Ive seen many good things about it online, got dimarzio pickups and its supposedly very comfy to play. Was originally going to go for another boring c shape in black but I saw that and its been on my mind for 2 weeks, only see them for around 9-1000 but this one was 680+20 postage from down south.
