You go with MLB super creek because max stamina is more important than max speed this time. Stamina is the chokepoint, if you dont have enough + gold recovery abilities, you WILL gas out before the finish line which means your speed effectively goes to ZERO. Borrow your MLB super creek and use your 1lb-2lb kitasan, it's fine.

Yeah that would be nice to have. Also consider McQueen (free) SSR for Cooldown gold recovery ability which will be useful if you need another one, and an okay stamina card to run alongside super creek which WILL provide most of the stamina you need assuming you have some decent stamina sparks.
The race being longer means that straightaway abilities will be slightly stronger here. Corner abilities are always really strong, but go for straightaway speed boost abilities too.
But yes, if you dont bring enough stamina you WILL get fucked.

On a long 3200m race, even if you have 1200 stamina, YOU WILL STILL GAS! (this isn't how it works in career mode because you get a huge hidden stamina boost there). So for a long to not gas and avoid dying to debuffs, you want 1200 + two golds, or 1000+ and three golds. But the more you rely on recovery abilities, the more chances you're leaving up to RNG. Gassing out is the worst possible thing that can happen. Having slightly more guts for this race helps too as it's effectively you're emergency stamina reserves (aim for 400+ instead of the usual 300+).
One more thing, the faster you are, the more stamina you burn. So if your speed isn't as high, it might make things a bit easier on your stamina, not that you should try and lower your speed but just something to keep in mind. Max out stamina and secure your gold recovery abilities first, THEN focus on speed. I expect many are going to be filtered who dont respect or understand the stamina requirements.
