I think the lesson of the 21st century thus far is that politics has become completely powerless in the face of cultural changes. It doesn't matter how many bills right-wing politicians pass against putting children on puberty blockers when that child can obtain the same for free with ease from a Discord tranny grooming him or her. It doesn't matter how much money is spent incentivizing young women to become mothers when they can just opt out of motherhood entirely without being punished for it (also as the Polish case has shown such methods are ineffective). Politics in neoliberal modernity is an exercise in futility. Everyone must prostrate themselves before markets and the sacred will of the individual which makes any sort of collective action obsolete.
