Hollow Knight sure felt like an adventure to me. Exploration, getting lost, discovery and being able to reach beyond what you expected to be there since that bug nest is fucking deep. Kind of similar feel to taking that elevator in Elden Ring that takes you to the underground area.

Kingdom Come 2 felt like an adventure as well, but not as much because of exploration and discovery of places, but exploration and discovery of people and their history. The game having some of the best side-quests in RPGs sure helped a lot.
