I've got a lot going on in my life right now so I barely had time for myself, but I had a fun time. All the TP restriction stuff in chapter 4 annoyed me, but it was fun for the first fight just because the sentence mixed pumpkin guy made me laugh.

I also liked that even when things got serious, the Titan climb segment had the time to make a silly face with the fireballs and cracks with picrel. I can't believe this si the halfway point of the story either, that Titan fight would have been final boss tier alone.

I value the game itself more than discussion around it, so I'm not too bothered about that. I think the theorycrafting around the game has become synonymous enough with how its community views it that it may have done no harm to space Chapter 3 and 4 out a little, but I think it should have been very little, if at all. Like a month, if that. There was already a long enough wait for Chapter 3, it's easy to see how Toby may have been averse to releasing just Chapter 3 when it had no Light World or Castle Town sections.

Chapter 4 doesn't even let you return to Castle Town at the end. The best you get is a reload of your save that lets you return to a Catle Town with only the Cafe and TV minigames available. It pisses me off that the ideal way to experience Castle Town fully right now is to have a save before the entirety of the Church Dark World.

to be fair some of the theories seem to be confirmed. monsters bleed, that insane gerson theory was mostly dead on, carol's design was mostly the same as fan interpretation, reverse soul/reverse undertale location theory was pretty much confirmed. the 5 stages of grief theory I had was actually pretty much confirmed, though it doesn't only apply to secret bosses like I thought it would.

Near the end of chapter 2 the cast gets some development, but the deer girl and bird nerd go back to being annoying in later chapters unless you go out of your way to do a secret route in chapter 2 where you screw both. Okay fellow Bed inspectors, here's a interesting thing you might not have noticed: Chapter 2 Pandora's Palace may actualy have elements of the Holiday's House mixed in, and not just a random Dark World thing. The Butlers wearing red that are everywhere, for example, and It having a locked basement

For example, Noelle's room is next to Dess's room.... but in Chapter 2 Dark World, Noelle's room doesn't appear to quite match her Chapter 4 light world room - sure it's what Queen has put in via Noelle's searches, but it's interesting that noelle's bed is near the window because that's where Noelle's long couch is in Chapter 4, she might actually sleep on that couch more than in her own bed. Also, the fact Dess's room is completely missing from the Dark World and is just the Ferris wheel next to Noelle's room - Susie points out that in Dess's room there's a photo of Kris and Noelle on the Ferris Wheel in there.

Why are you completely incapable of picking up on the most basic of context clues.
When the Knight supposedly tries to kidnap Toriel, it uses some ray beam that's slow and easy to interrupt. The second time it makes sure to hover right next to Susie so she can interrupt it despite being on the ground barely able to move. Then when Undyne shows up, the ray beam isn't needed and the Knight can just grab her and zoom away like nothing.
How the fuck does any of that make sense if the Knight was actually trying to capture Toriel? Once the party was down it could've just grabbed her like it grabbed Undyne and flown away. It only makes sense if the Knight was only pretending until Undyne, the real target, showed up.
