I've beat Knight. Fuck it felt good, I'm a complete shitter but I didn't tilt once, the last run was particularly smooth, I had all three members of Fuck Squad standing for the last attack. But I've also noticed couple of important things:
1. Pretty sure it was Kris who struck Susie and Ralsei down. Not 100% sure, but I would bet good money on it.
2. However, when Kris and Ralsei are left alone together after the fight, Ralsei says "You were very brave, but our struggle is only beginning." Since Ralsei must be aware that Kris is working with Knight, it's a good indication that they both are not on board with what Knight is doing, and are planning to defy her.

It's entirely possible that he was completely talking out of his ass with his monologue at the end of a Genocide run and this was an attempt at demotivating the current vessel from killing everyone.
He even intentionally traps Frisk at the end of a Genocide run by destroying Asgore's Soul directly mirroring the moment as Asriel where he refused to harm any of the humans before returning to the Underground and dying.

I have literally not seen anyone talk about it but in chapter 4 if you listen in on the conversation between Kris and Carol on the phone she says something "you need soul" to do something and that you can't do it without it.
I forgot what exactly she said.

But that means Kris found a soul somewhere and just kept it in a cage in his room for god knows how long before we somehow took over it as the player.
And also is he like dying?
