My thoughts after a quick run:
Energy is pretty important, resting is wasteful. Wit cards are great.
Make sure to win all unity cup races, you need to select top 3 times at the very least and middle once? to get the proper showdown at the end.
Don't neglect your team, I picked trainings that increased stats even on less desirable stats as these also raise training levels and can build up to spirit bursts.
Spirit burst on stats you actually care for, you need a certain amount before the last turn to get the Aoharu skills so maybe keep track of it.
