Skill sparks make higher end builds possible. So you inherit Groundwork and the stuff to trigger it and you don't have to use a bad deck, for example. It's going to vary depending on what you're building and what cards you have to work with. And you have to have S rank length for max speed in CM.

But i can see this go really silly when you have a good amount of decent white sparks on all parents and grand parents and then get lucky a lot but that's basically the entire game.
