I'm not that versed in the deep lore for Halo(books, comics, tv show etc) but the Rocket Launcher is already in, same with the Sniper, same with the Spartan Laser, same with the Railgun, same with the Mech, same with the Warthog. Same with the MAC Cannon, all I can see that isn't in the game already is the Mongoose(Bike expy) and the Scorpion(Tank).

For budgetary reasons, hellbombs must be manually armed by a soldier wearing significantly more expensive gear that can get blown up on the way to arming it.

Super earth can just glass these objectives from orbit without little soldiers throwing beacons for them, our reason for being there is thematic and aesthetic. Only in gloom maps could you say that ground forces are necessary but Eagle-1 could recon and drop strat markers on anything that isn't an anti-air emplacement.

You can make an argument for the galactic war being about population thinning and maintaining a prosperous military industrial complex but at the end of the day it's a video game and is as arbitrary as Fortnite in it's functions, just with a realistic artstyle.

In the same time you could call down 6 EATs, and if you can't land the pods and need both EATs for a single heavy because you can't into hitting weakshots, that's still at least 3 heavy kills to the ORC 1 heavy kill in 3 minutes.
If you're an EATgod you can kill NINE heavies in the time the ORC can kill ONE heavy at best if it doesn't decide to target the rocket chicken over the war strider

The problem is that it's just not practical compared to any other option. The ORS has all the problems endemic to using air support in cities as well as a 3 minute cooldown and a call-in time and becomes unavailable in statagem jams and ion storms. All for the same effect as a single shot from a quasar or EAT. You can fire a Quasar every 18 seconds and the EAT every 30. The EAT doesn't even really expect you to give up a support weapon slot either, as they can be shared or stockpiled by using it on cooldown.

Drive around to all the POIs on D1s with the FRV and bring the warp pack to get into bunkers. The planet Grand Errant on the bug side is currently the best for the IMO

If you have a warp pack, drop into dif 1-3 with warp pack, FRV, and like 2 gatling sentries or summat. Comb the map in the FRV, driving carefully in Drive 1 if necessary, and look for points of interest. Blow up cargo doors with impact grenade and dive-warp through bunker doors to grab the stuff inside. When you're sure you've scooped the map, return to shop alone and repeat. Use scout armor, obviously.

If you don't have a warp pack you'll need to look for higher level players at dif 1 or 2 and drop in on them in the assumption that they are credit farming. You can peak through bunker doors using ADS in order to make sure you're not calling them from across the map for 3 req slips.

I don't think it would be as bad as it is with MvM mainly because of how easy D10 has become. The only reason MvM got that way was from the fact you need the whole team to have a good idea of what they're doing for runs to go well. In D10 you can basically run whatever you want and do just fine. Even if it's challenging to some people they could just bump it down to D7 and only miss out on like 30 extra SC.
Also if you really wanted to get a shit ton of SC off of beating a mission those people would just spam D10 eradicate missions over and over like they did near the start of the game for XP and medals.
