I'm starting to think what I want for my massive 256 anime girls harem porn board game.

I realized I don't want to like super make an autistically complex giant shogi for it.

I think a more elegant solution is instead of like making a 2D board like go and chess, turn that 2D giant board into something that resembles more a ludo giant board with 16 territories arranged in a sort of circular path, like ludo, but visually resembling a lot a 2D grid, like a go board.

That way it would be much simpler the selection of movements if the next piece you pick is from a nation that is clock wise in the order of the map.

Then, each nation could summon pieces like ludo, to it's home square.
But also like have 8 pieces to be ying and 8 to be yang, and have each one move in clockwise direction or counter clockwise.

These each 8 pieces would be basically 2 teams where one is like a Fire element, that can like throw grenades that burn the nearby pieces.
And Stone, which would counter attack the other piece attack, and kill both, if directly attacked, but could be range killed by Fire, but stones couldn't be pass over Fire pieces, only other Stones could jump pieces.

And have each element have 4 ranks, which higher mobility means less attack range and viceversa. So lower ranks would have bigger moblity and higher ranks would have more range to attack.

Basically, having a full circle would allow to revive a piece of the ones you have lost.
And to increase mobility, you could teleport a piece on the nation that is orthogonally to your own nation. So you would have 4 teleport spots in the circular path.

Another rule would be that you could put your own pieces in the same spot you already control, but you could capture multiple enemy pieces of the nations that form a triangle in the circle.
For the other nations, a higher rank could capture the lower ranks, except if there's a similar rank or higher in the block of pieces.

If you don't have a video or cool screenshots I did not play your game and don't care to. I missed armaphract, that game looks like it could be good.

When translating your game you always have to weigh the audience's purchasing power.
It makes sense to translate to French, German, Italian maybe because these people actually have the money to buy games.
I can't say much about Chineses as I have not researched their habits of purchasing and whether they buy or pirate.
Japan and Korea also have purchasing power and will buy your game.
Contrary to what /agdg/ believes, Russians also actually buy games, despite the reputation of being a piracy heaven. In fact they seem to be among the few audiences actually interested in indie games, especially the fartsy artsy ones. You can also corroborate this with various Russian games succeeding on Steam like Miside or Vladik Brutal.
Latinx people do not seem to buy many games. Their purchasing power is very low and they're very poor.

So in general, West and East European languages are worth translating to, as well as East Asian languages. Latin American isn't so much. If you can speak it, go for it, but if you don't, it's not worth spending your time on it.

I've done it with Papagayo in the past by running it through that program, exporting the phonemes and frame time to a text document and then running a custom MEL script that essentially assigns blend shape weights based on the desired phoneme.
It was a more manual process then I would've liked through and for a large scale RPG it would be untenable.

Basically, what I want is a battle royale between the MC where he fucks 256 anime girls.

Imagine now this.
Each girl is a card, and there's 256 cards in the deck.
But.
Each girl belong to a diferent classroom.
So you got something like 16 classrooms of 16 girls.
Or maybe they can be families, to have more diversity of ages.

Then there's a 16 divisions circle, similar visually to the circle of fifths in music.
Each girl has a rank number like how poker cards have a number.
At the beggining of the game, each family is shuffled, like a deck loop, this ensures a randomized map state.

Then, the player puts his MC joker sempai card on the girl he wants to activate.
Then she sort of try to capture the two cards that are on the triangle formed with this family position in the circle.
If there's not girl on that position, you move clockwise until you find a card.
If the card attacked has a lower rank, It get's removed, and that girl is fucked by the MC, if both cards are removed, the MC fucks them in a FFM action.
The girl that is rank 1 can fuck the girl at the rank 16, making it a loop.

Then the turns ends, and the families are shuffled by +1 position until they loop.

When there's only a single family left, The last round beings where the family 16 girls are put around the same circle for a last round.

The last girl then wins and can marry the sempai.

They're an artifact of the CDROM era in the late 90s and early 2000s. I liked Red Alert 2's cutscenes, they had porno quality production and porno quality actors. Wing Commander 3 was far better, had actual actors like Mark Hamil and Malcom McDowel, with Babylon 5 levels of production and is pretty much the gold standard for such things.

I'm not sure they're worth doing these days, there's certainly no novelty factor for seeing live action video in a game anymore.

I think it boils down to board games by their own nature, have a really limited level to play, which a lot of times is just a basic 2D grid no bigger than 30x30 blocks.

Or they don't require a 3D character with an animation system, or melee combat, or 3D enemies to fight and have to make make animations.

Or most of the actions are just card based and no more complex than a VN to code in terms of dificulty.
