Hello again! I'd like to start a chat to explore the paranormal from a plausible scientific perspective. First, I'd like to start with a methodology I first thought of in Middle School and later refined. I asked myself, seemingly out of the blue, "Has an ostrich ever fallen over a waterfall?" It was the mid 2000s and the wacky zany animal and irreverent Family Guy and Invader Zim esque humor of the time probably inspired the visual, but it was also probably just me. I don't want this to happen to ostriches, I like them, but it was an amusing visual to me at the time. What started as a gag question led me to seriously consider the likelihood of this happening tho. Where do Ostriches live? do they hang around water? Could one mistakenly run into a river to avoid a predator? What about the great flood myths? Surely an ostrich or two could have been swept into a river and over a fall during that. What about prehistoric times? Sure an Ostrich's ancestor could have been swept over a fall. All this to say, through sheer deduction and imagining scenarios based on what I know about nature and the world, I determined that yes, without having to look it up or ask a scientist of any kind, it as an almost absolute certainty that, at some point in Earth's history, an ostrich, or something like it, fell over a waterfall. I've taken to calling this methodology "Ostrich Theory." Going back to my first statement, I've begun applying this methodology to the paranormal, things that can't be proven scientifically, but might be. I call this "Out There Ostrich Theory" or simplt OT OT for short. I don't have any questions exactly regarding paranormal happenings for now, but I'm wondering about Philosophers, Scientists and or Writers and so on who have coined names for similar types of ideas.

11/30/2011 – Last Nights dream. Some kind of lego tf2 servers, switched over to some ninja lego thing. Underground in some large dark ruin like facility? Can’t remember specifics. Me and others are being held there, there’s some kind of trap course to go through. Girl with white robe ? white-ish hair goes ahead of me, I chase after her. I get through a couple traps, not sure what they were. One that’s in a dark room with chimes I could figure out and the walls crushed me. I reloaded? On the other side of that room in a different room, it’s sort of blueish and gridded and etc. I find the white haired girls ashpile on the other side I say something to the effect of no! I draw designs and such in her ashes and write, C**** always loved you. Girl with black hair and eyeliner shows up. She talks but I can’t remember what she says. I scatter some of the ashes, but not the writing. We end up in this office monitor type room, the monitors show various things. Some news reports, one looked like footage of a low graphic level trouble in terrorist town game. I end up smashing one of the monitors with my own crowbar. Goth girl offers me one at first with black tape on it, but then I say I have my own, which has white tape on it. After smashing the monitor there’s glass in my arm. I have to pull someout. I ask her to rub my arm to see if I missed any glass. After that I go for the second monitor, I hit this one specifically by jabbing the center, it’s still working after so I knock it on it’s fact and smash it’s back. Outside at some point, girl still with me I think. We’re in a hilly location. Futurama is on, then it’s the simpsons doing a skyrim paroday. Dream end?
