Nu OG is doing well with 10+ player peaks daily. Edin, the br*tish isles of the east are the main hub for players. The explorer's guild takes on the role of the old Hermes Iniative, exploring and building networks.

North American servers are going to be merged soon, EU servers already have been. I would hope this would bring life back to the game, as many people on the NA west server have simply quit due to low population numbers

Wizard101 recently came to consoles. You cannot bring your character over from the PC version, as your characters on the console version are tied to your PlayStation or Xbox account. You also can't pay for your subscription externally on their website, like you can for Final Fantasy XIV. You have to buy crowns from the PlayStation shop and then use them to purchase a membership elixir from the in-game store. It's not possible to buy just the amount of crowns you need for a subscription, and it costs more to subscribe on console than it does on PC.
