I wanted to do a RPE 10 in my first squat set but I wasn't able to do it because I had burps going up my throat when squatting.
In general the squat sets of today felt bad because I wasn't able to properly generate tension in my torso.

Also two women asked me to help them in the gym today, a short latina asked me to bring down a bar from a rack that was left too high for her, and another asked me to help her out of the machine hip thrust because she failed a rep.

Apparently the difference is minor, but pullups are a bit better than pulldowns. Idk why though. My pulldown/pullup variant is the unilateral lat pulldown so I just spam that shit, whether on a standard machine or on a plate loaded machine. Once in a blue moon I do them in the form of assisted pullups where I maybe even use the unused arm to feel where my lats are to feel the contraction of the muscle.

Why would they be better?
If someone told you one is better than the other, ask them why they think so, most of the time either they don't have a reasoning of the reasoning might be sound but it's more of a trade off so one exercise makes more sense for them but it's a trade off so you still have to consider it for your situation.

@Magyaranon i watched ReLife because you said you liked it, I don't really get why you liked it so much because it didn't really affect me, but it's still a nice enough slice of life anime. I do have some notes about stuff i noticed though:

1) strangely enough it seems that their beauty ideals for men don't involve very masculine features at all and seem to like finer and sharper features like a pointed chin, compact jaws, soft jawlines, small brow ridges, etc. Where ôga is portrayed as being a supposedly very good looking guy.
