I hate when people give me a million shards right before the nightlord. If we don't kill it before I use up 4 shards it's probably a loss anyways. I rarely have to use more than 1 shard against the nightlord during a winning run and when I have to eat through all my shards it's more often than not a loss because it meant I was the only one pulling my weight.

if I could cheat in relics, I would go with this almost exactly except I start with a wraith bell instead of max fp with 3x seals (not a fan of 3x weapon buffs personally)
plus if you pick up any weapon with magic attack buffs, it buffs the bell, the claws, and the ash
the start with magic effect actually increases damage rather than modify like the other starting weapons so that's really smart to include

the rotted forest is by far the best
