There'll be as many consequences for Sword route as there are for Weird route.
None, but it's technically optional and makes the important fight (Knight/True End), easier to actually do. Gerson said going the wrong way is a good workout and can get you good ideas, afterall.

If he was afraid of us, he wouldn't poke us with a hockey stick and throw crap at us. MiniKris scared him because that thing just killed his friends inside the game and then broke out.

imagine even being vaguely interested enough in this thread to post on a thread about 2 games whose entire existence and identity is referencing, parodying and deconstructing 8 and 16-bit video games, especially rpgs, and acting like a reference to one of the most popular ones is corny or cringe. when will you kids understand these games were never even slightly intended for you unless you're fully willing to play, or at the very least respect the existence of these games and that you literally are missing so much of the point of toby's games that it makes no sense for you to care about them at all if you can't do that? this is not fucking fnaf garten of banban whatever the fuck preschooler game, this is a retro loveletter for retro game enthusiasts, objectively. i don't mean to pick on this one small post so much but it represents a large and common sentiment i keep seeing around everywhere like, kids will make fun of this stuff and say ok boomer to any such reference but not even realize how retarded they are that toby made this game 100% for us and 0% for them

I groaned the second I saw the second zelda section, even after 4 years of waiting and scrambling to buy the game the second it came out I was ready to turn the fucking game off and go do something else

Not everything is a "skill issue" you dick. It wasn't difficult, just tedious
