It's really not hard to fix Star Trek.
You created a post-VOY show, you ignore everything that Nu Trek ever did, and you hire legacy Star Trek writers who actually somewhat know what they're doing who are still working actively.

There are a host of them still around, guys who wrote great episodes.
And then you let them pick young writers that can actually write Star Trek and mentor them in the writer's room, and you create an entire new stock of Star Trek writers.
And obviously, you need a solid legacy Trek EP to keep the show honest and everything on track. I'm not a huge fan of Moore's BSG but he's a good Trek writer and I think he could manage a show decently compared to everyone else who's been doing it in Nu Trek, that's for sure.
If the writing is good, everything else will follow.
