This whole "violent tendencies"/"intrusive thoughts" interpretation would be fine and good in a normal story or even most other games, but in this game YOU the player are your own character, YOU are controlling Kris against their will, YOU reveal YOURSELF to Noelle before YOU make her EQUIP the ring, and Kris hates YOU for what YOU did
Focusing on these inferred elements of Kris's character is just laundering YOUR own agency in making Kris take these actions and pushing YOUR responsibility onto Kris. And going so far as to claim "Kris could have stopped us at any time but they just didn't want to" is character assassination, plain and simple.

I deleted Limbus company off of all my devices because that friend group i had wouldnt stop being gigantic cunts over discussion surrounding it so i left the game and i left them and i wish this stupid godfuck gacha game never existed because maybe then PM wouldve gone out of business as a developer with a fucking modicum of self respect

The man behind the tree and Gaster are two different entities.
Gaster is able to freely speak to you, the Knight fight is proof of this. While the Man behind the tree can only properly speak to you in Manland. Gaster is in the program layer, while the Man is within the game itself. FRIEND is within the game, but may also be able to move to the Program layer freely.
