Occasional reminder that everywhere the British Empire colonised, they themselves were opressing neighbours and their own people. In India, you have people burning widows alive and then say "Saar, saar, no saar you can't colonise us saar, it's unfair saar!" In Africa you had thousands of tribes all enslaving and killing each other and the British empire was the only thing that brought any sort of civilisation to them. People bring native American deaths from disease up as if that was anyone's fault at all, it's just natural biology.

The British empire was the greatest thing to happen in the history of the world, (taking 2 millenia to beat the Romans) and seethers can't accept it.
