Manipulating probability is the gameplay of PoE. It's something you constantly think about and engage with. What is the game play of grim dawn? What part of it is mentally stimulating? You're free to slog through PoE and just trade orbs for gear, but a player that engages with the crafting and probability manipulation will progress 100x faster, and that's rewarding.
