The reason my favorite games are my favorite is because they were thoughtfully designed by people who are not me, introduced me to ideas and experiences I could not have conceived of otherwise, and ended in a way that left me satisfied.

I don’t want more of them because the fact that they end is what gives them meaning to me. I don’t want the same thing forever, and the idea of that coming to pass in my lifetime fills me with an indescribable amount of anger. I would rather kill myself

What matters is that international organizations that control virtually every aspect of modern finance can, with impunity, decide what you are and aren’t able to spend your money on.
