>mtx added post-launch after Activision said the game wouldn't have mtx
I'm pretty sure I put more than 100 hours into the game, and while I think I was able to unlock all the characters, I remember I was nowhere close when it came to having the costumes and especially the karts. Eventually the game just felt more like a job and less something I was playing for fun and naturally unlocking new stuff I was interested in along the way so I dropped it. All Crossworlds has to is not make the costumes, karts or whatever is in their in-game shop not stupidly expensive and allow you to use the tickets to buy them. If they want to put an option for buying tickets in the game, whatever, let people have the option. But don't make it fucking torture to get anything if you don't want to crack open the wallet for the $12.99 pack of 10000 (+1000 bonus!) tickets.
That's just the hope though, gotta brace myself for the possible reality that I'm going to see at some point that Rouge's Riders outfit is in the game but locked behind Premium Tickets that you can only get with real money.
