>Most people don't have Rohrl-like photographic memory "I saw the track in my dream" autism
this
i can run the nurburgring in my head but i don't actually remember the whole thing accurately no matter how many times i've done it

problem is rally stages in games are relatively short, sometimes less than the 'ring, so it's easy to memorize, especially if you are a weird little racing game autist that MUST only play YOUR genre for esoteric reasons and never ever ever try anything else, thus ensuring you have literally nothing else to think about but the 8 km long babby stages in the only game you play, making memorization inevitable..

tl;dr GET. GOOD.

ok well if you're going to "lose sometimes" then you're going to get rubber banded
if you want a racing game to be fair and accurate to real life then a human will always win, you can't program bravery or technique, just imitate it. whenever the ai tries to employ the same tactics as players like ramming, cutting the track, shooting tiny gaps and being aggressive, people like you can't handle it and demand it be turned down.
then it gets turned down to be less aggressive and now it's too easy.
the issue i think is that people like you think you're good at racing games but if you experienced real "fair" racing game difficulty you'd hate it. if an ai in gt or forza raced you like people race it you'd put your console thru a wall.

idk if it works anymore since the update but the ai performance boost and difficulty mod to make it feel more like wmmt is kino and the ai actually is more fun with the silly rubberbanding, makes it seem like they're running nos.

maybe your pc is so shit it cant hold on to 120 fps in ac or you didn't actually enable g-sync
personally i have flicker issues with vrr modes and i just leave it on max refresh rate, which my computer can easily manage (165 fps).

Sorry for trying to have fun in a game and wanting to talk about personal achievements, I guess.
read the rest of what you greentexted

>your lap time is completely irrelevant until you have the skill to improve it willingly and not just fart really hard for 14km and then ask someone else "was that good?"

until you have a lap where you go "damn that was good" there's no point in gaslighting yourself. imagine if you will, we are on the steps of a large staircase. you have taken one step, and gone "guys was this good?"
whether it was good enough or not is not for your peers to decide. only you can truly tell if that is a good enough lap or not. if it was good enough then pack it in go home you're done. if it was shit and needs improving then you go back out there and do it. surpass your limits.
