Most animals that have some form of social/cultural upbringing have tiers of engagement for disagreements and disputes. Usually it starts with aggressive marking and then body posturing if they ever encounter each other. If it escalates from there they will begin shouting at each other and eventually they will do what they do in your video as a final dispute before getting violent.
As for why wild animals choose to have tiers of engagement instead of just fighting, it's because in the wild getting hurt or bitten even if you win the fight could lead to sickness and even death so it's in the best interest of both parties to diffuse a dispute between each other without getting violent. You see the exact same behavior in wolves and most bird species as well.
