Everytime I try the funny shortcut I fall off

I can't make threads, I'd appreciate anyone's perspective on this:

I went on 3 dates with a girl and sent her a text saying I lost interest. For the reason why I stated that I was feeling a lot of pressure because she was calling me things like the love of her life already. I didn't even feel like I knew her yet, not even to mention if I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.
She'd also go back & forth on being sexual, sending me suggestive texts or reels and then getting anxious about it being too much too soon. We had sex; I asked her a bunch of times if she really wanted it before we did, and she said yes. She got really anxious after and it scared me, as I got the feeling that I did something wrong.
She was a very impulsive person and I told her that it didn't fit me because I value discipline a lot.

Despite wanting to spend more time with her, I felt like I should cut off contact before she gets attached a whole lot more. I just wasn't developing feelings on the same pace as her.

My question is, was I too harsh? Did I do the right thing? I really did not want to hurt her, I'm terrible when it comes to rejection.

I mean I had multiple WW races (not Knockouts) where it was 15+ people. Not to say other people are wrong but I legit there is something wrong with matchmaking because after it his like 15 people the races just start and it always seems to hover around 12-18 for me the few times I do WW (which I prefer to 24). Knockout is just better tho
