I've been trying out Gunlance recently and I'm not really sure how people keep saying, "I'm doing 2 times more damage than everyone in my groups".

I've been using all the same combos as speedtrannies, both for Wide and Normal. I have a god rolled Fire and Ice Artian and a half decent Charm for my G. Bors Arkveld GL too. But it still just feels weaker than my other weapons. So I took it to the Training Room and I used the best combos for Gunlance over a couple minutes and did it again on a bunch of different weapons. And Gunlance just always did okay. Nothing amazing. Not enough to be considered god tier. In most instances, it was also weaker.

Are these people lying to me or is there some secret I'm just not aware of? I'm copying the optimum DPS rotations from speedtrannies and the meta guide.

What is the undeniable best Gunlance? I've seen some say Artian Ice and Fire for Normal Shelling with maxed attack. I've seen others say G. Ark for Wide Shelling.

I'm trying both and I honestly can't tell the difference and I'm too shit to make huge differences in my 9* kill times by comparing the two. I also don't know what is the best combo for each if they even have different combos? Like - I got a 10 Minute Seregios on both so I don't know if I'm doing good or bad or if I'm even seeing differences in damage on both.

What's the OP classes / builds?

First of all - This game hired SBI and they race swapped the character. Who knows what else they did.

Secondly - you people have been spamming everything with DEI and faggotry for years now that people have over corrected. You literally created your own worse enemy by forcing this on people for fucking years. YEARS. So now even if this weren't woke, which it is, people would still look at it with extreme suspicion or outright hate simply as a consequence of trying to force people to think and feel a certain way for years.
