There was a time where I was hopeful that AI would enable artlets to pursue their dreams but that's not how it turned out. NTA but I agree with him, ER was when it really went overboard, although I feel DS3 had its moments as well. When I died in DeS or DaS I felt most of the time the death was fair. There were annoying exceptions, but they were the same ones everyone experiences their first time. In ER, even with prior experience I just don't want to go through the game again. I get to extremely bullshit points and just quit. Maybe I'm just getting too old for these games, genuinely, but I'm burnt out on this shit.

I also see two other possible schemes. The first is they are think about the returns it could offer, especially after committing demographic suicide. They want some people to be able to go study abroad, spread Ukrainium in universities, and maybe get some money sent back to Ukraine. Though this probably comes with the catch that they have to come back. How many will fulfil that, and whether foreign countries don't let them stay is another matter.
The second is to stop a feeling of urgency and make it seem like there are other ways out for young men rather than fleeing.
