Capture 1 gives me way better performance, LR has been degrading like crazy in the last few years. After 10 years of using it, i made the switch. Now editing photos is finally not torture. It's too bad, because overall I've been used to LR so much that switching is like switching OS at this point. And I hate switching OS. And I like the ergonomics of LR better, though in C1 I can do everything I could in LR, so at least it's a very good equivalent.
Only issue is the C1 startup time is very slow for some reason, but it's smooth sailing once it's opened.
Also, C1 users, do you go with sessions or catalogs? So far I've been using sessions, but now that I'm used to C1 and committed to keep using it, I intend to use the feature letting me import my LR catalog in it. As such, I assume this import feature means I'll keep using a catalog.
Is it a good idea or not?

LGBT and queer shit haven't been censored, while heterosexual content has, very confusing. Why does this Russ support LGBT so strongly? Hmmm, I wonder what the answer could be.

Genuine question since you're Turk, how do you deal with such high inflation when you're a regular Joe? The richs won't care, they always have 9000 solutions to get away with it, but as a regular Joe, do you end up buying gold, BTC, silver, USD, EUR, maybe invest in stonks as they tend to at least track inflation? Maybe you use the money you have to at least secure real estate/a home?
I suppose salaries bump up quite a bit, but we just know companies won't track inflation 1:1, far from it. Not like they could even if they wanted to.
Inflation going up even a tidy bit too much is enough to destabilize economies, and even lead to funny elections (see the US). I can't imagine having to live through peaks of 80 or 90% inflation, even if temporary. It just feels so alien to me. And probably feel alien to the entire West. Just the measly covid inflation was perceived as dramatic, even if it was a nothingburger in the grand scheme of things.

Jonathan Soxl, chief CEO of SOXL, just mortgaged his house and took out a payday loan to buy more shares of SOXL as reported to the SEC. What does he know that we don't? Is today the last day of discounts after the panican shakeout before SOXL goes to 90? Is this your last opportunity to build generational wealth?

Well, it's either that or going back to the crop fields so I can live another winter or something.
I'm content with my comfy WFH job responding to a few emails a day and having 10 weeks of paid leave, I honestly think I have it better and in easy mode compared to my ancestors.
But I sure wouldn't mind "work" in general being entirely done by machines, but I'm not sure it'll be a good end for mankind as a whole.

I wonder if the creatine I've been taking has helped with my runner's knee. The only strengthening exercise I've been doing is leg raises. I believe runner's knee is due to strength imbalances. Creatine does provide energy to muscles, so maybe it gives the extra boost my muscles need when they are worn out.
