From my understanding, last time around they were incredibly cucked by Spain.
Spain has a breakaway region too, but in their case the breakaway region is the most important and most developed part of the country, so they really don't want to see them go. So Spain preemptively blocked scotlands EU access if they were to become independent, to serve as a warning for their own breakaway region. This made a lot of scots think twice and vote no in the original referendum.
I wonder what that situation would be like this time around seeing as britain has left the EU. Would spain be open to Scotland joining?

Scotland is nowhere near the immigration levels of the rest of the UK. There are some migrants in Glasgow and Edinburgh, but the population on the street feels predominantly white everywhere, not like England where they have indian enclaves.
That being said, I agree that they need to keep pakis out after independence. Maybe they can campaign on "pakis out, poles in" as a cheeky reference to UKIPS (idiotic) "poles out pakis in" campaign
