Numbers-wise, it's no different from the Worldborne days. The difference lies in the retention of OTHER/REGULAR players (which all disappear 3 days after an update), the ratio of "regular hunters":"goontroons", the actual content of the game not incentivizing replayability so the "regular hunters":"goontroons" ratio shifts massively to the latter because there's fuckall to hunt. Even the "goontroons" from previous games were expected some level of competence, the games used to allow for an opportunity to show off and specialize with a weapon and against a monster, now all you can show off is boobies and ass. In Wilds, an /mhg/ party is no different than a random shitter party when it comes to skill-expression, except in the fact that the latter bends over to show modded naked ass. That's Monster Hunter Wilds.
